Challenger Point

Entering Class: Enter quietly and calmly. Must be in the room before the bell rings and getting out necessary materials. Students will be required to fill out their planner with homework and assignments. 

Exiting Class: Do not line up at the door. You may leave when you are excused. Clean your area and push in your chairs.

Food/Gum is NOT allowed in the classroom. Students may bring water bottles to be used in the classroom.

Late Work: For Q1 and Q2 If students have fallen behind on assignments, and their work is late, a 1 week extension will be granted with a 1 point reduction. Anything beyond 1 week will result in further point reductions. 

Bathroom Usage: Bathroom passes will be the student planner. You must have your planner (borrowing others is not acceptable). Teachers will use the planner to make sure students are not missing excessive class time. Pages must be attached in planner to leave class.

AI/ChatGPT/Photomath: The expectation when writing is that students compose their own essays and responses. Any usage of AI technology or ChatGPT will result in a zero on that assignment.

Absences: When you are absent from class, please be sure to do the following:

• Check each class’s Google Classroom and complete assignments you may have missed due to absence.
• Be sure to touch base with your teacher when you have returned from your absence.
• Students will have extended due dates from their absences.

Lunch Court 

If a student misbehaves in class for a teacher or a substitute, they will be called to “Lunch Court.” At lunch court, students will have the opportunity to discuss their behavior and brainstorm solutions to their actions. If necessary, consequences will be discussed.
