- Hoods, hats, sunglasses, and earbuds/headphones are off when inside the building. Bandanas may be worn as a headband only, without covering the head.
- Shoes are required at all times within the building. Footwear must have a hard rubber sole. Soft-soled slippers are not considered shoes.
- Appropriate CONTENT - content that would be considered inappropriate includes: drugs, tobacco/vape, alcohol, discrimination, sex or nudity, violence, weapons, or objectification of others. This includes the Playboy, Cookies, Hooters, and “I Love ____” brands.
- Appropriate COVERAGE - clothing will adequately cover the chest, butt, belly, back, and crotch.
- Specific COVERAGE information:
- Adequate chest coverage is nothing lower than the top of the armpit
- Adequate belly coverage is 2 finger width or less showing (no crop tops).
- Adequate back coverage means tops must have 2+ straps (no halters , strapless, one-sided, or backless).
- Adequate butt coverage means butt cheeks are not visible (with shoulders at rest, shorts are at or below fingertips). This includes sagging of the pants.
- Spandex shorts are not to be worn. They are allowed for athletic practice/games only by players.
- Adequate crotch coverage means clothing does not emphasize or highlight the crotch area with fit, cut, or design.
- Costumes, costume masks, swimwear, onesie pajamas, pajamas sets, robes, face or body paint are considered inappropriate for school. Spirit days will be the approved days for themed apparel.

School staff determines if student appearance is appropriate. If students are unsure if their appearance meets the guidelines, other attire should be worn.
If student appearance falls outside the appearance guidelines, the opportunity to change or to correct their appearance will be given. Repeated occurrences of inappropriate appearance will result in school-based consequences.
